You are also within easy reach of a series of rivers and lakes, where you can enjoy various water sports activities such as kayaking and fishing. The town of Lampeter is a few miles away, with a selection of independent shops and traditional eateries, as well as a local history museum. Just 10 minutes down the road is the start of the Brechfa Forest, perfect for mountain bikers and walkers alike. If it's the Mountains you're after then head North to the dramatic Cambrian Mountains, rich with wildlife and some of the most magnificent views imaginable.

The property also benefits from being a scenic car journey away from the west coast of Wales and its picturesque beaches for those quieter afternoons, as well as the historic coastal town of Aberystwyth. There are all manner of tourist attractions available from the Devil's Bridge Falls where you can watch cascading waterfalls pass the nested bridges, while the National Trust's Dolaucothi Gold Mines is a unique and fascinating day out that is not to be missed.
